Sr. Product Management Specialist

KeyLogic is continuously seeking experienced Senior Product Management Specialist to support the DoD in Biometrics and serve as the lead for accomplishing/contributing to all acquisition responsibilities of the Product team.  Responsibilities include executing tasks related to cost, schedule, and performance of product capabilities.

You will be supporting DoD Acquisitions Programs and Logistics to bring products across the DoD through prototype feasibility assessment and alignment with current architectures.

Required Qualifications:


* Bachelor's Degree


* Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in DoD Systems Acquisition


* Project Management Professional (PMP) or DAWIA Practitioner Level Certification in Program Management


* Experience with DoD Acquisition programs and Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) processes.


* Experience in coordination of program updates with a Service Headquarters (e.g.

HQDA) and preparing updates to OSD and Congress on a DoD product.


* Experience with creating and managing IMSs and milestone events including Defense Acquisition System milestone decisions.


* Experienced in risk management in acquisition and development of mitigation strategies.


* Experience with collecting and organizing data to support informed decisions on how to posture capability for transition to sustainment.


* Experience with developing material and briefing executives/leaders on a frequent basis, providing answers to Government tasks and coordinating across internal/external stakeholders and all levels in the chain of command.


* Experience with coordinating and facilitating Product Team meetings.


* Ability to support short notice tasks in a timely manner and maintain configuration control of the initial and follow-on responses.

Desired Qualifications:


*          10 plus years’ experience in leadership of complex tasks, including review of work products for correctness, compliance with industry ‘best practices,’ and DOD standards.


*         Ability to provide critical thought and creative strategies to acquisition efforts.


*         Experience working in the Defense Acquisition environment.


*          Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.

Clearance:


*         Candidate MUST hold an Active DoD Secret Clearance

Place of Performance:


*          Hybrid Remote/Onsite 2-3 days / week: National Capital Region
