GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Inventory Cycle Counter is responsible for ensuring Hoffmaster's raw materials are counted accurately and that our inventory numbers are precise.
Accurate inventory is vital to our operations, and this position is a critical component of our inventory management team.
In addition to counting raw materials, this position may also be required to move inventory with a clamp truck or forklift and will assist our shipping department in finished goods inventory as needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Accurately scan inventory and ensure items are in their correct bins
* Utilize technology and fresh ideas to help modernize and improve upon our current processes
* Learn and develop a strong working knowledge of all plant operations
* Ensure all material movements are recorded accurately
* Work closely with team members on the Receiving and Shipping Teams and assist them when needed
* Safely operate clamp truck / forklift / Walkie in a busy manufacturing environment if needed

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Knowledge of inventory bin systems / best practices for inventory management
* Knowledge of material management procedures
* Knowledge of forklift or clamp truck operations; Paterson certification required

Education, Experience, and Certification:
* At least 1 year of experience with inventory management in manufacturing; forklift or clamp truck operation in a warehouse or manufacturing setting preferred
