AVP, Treasury Accounting & Administration
Leadership role responsible for the company's cash accounting and bank administration activities.
Directs and manages daily operations of these treasury functions and leads a team of local staff and contractors.
Success in this role involves substantial cross-department collaboration to ensure sound financial decision-making and compliance with policies and regulatory guidelines.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
* Oversee the direction, coordination and operations of the Treasury Accounting and Bank Administration teams
* Manage journal entries, reconciliations, and analysis associated with incoming and outgoing cash transactions
* Maintain an efficient system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over treasury activities and provide support for regulatory reporting
* Support corporate accounting, capital management, corporate tax, financial planning, internal audit and other functions as they relate to treasury transactions and entity structure
* Drive and support the initiatives to optimize banking infrastructure and cash management processes
* Collaborate with IT in establishing and maintaining treasury technology solutions including required interfaces, to support cash management activities
* Coordinate timely and accurate bank account reconciliations
* Oversee the reporting on corporate credit facilities and ensure adherence to established treasury policies
* Demonstrate leadership and training skills to further develop managers and analysts within the department
