Georgia-Pacific's Cellulose Division is seeking a Safety Specialist to join our Brunswick, GA mill team to drive excellence in workplace health and safety.
In this role, you will collaborate with departments to ensure compliance with safety policies and standards, drive continuous improvement through training and hazard assessments, and foster a proactive safety culture.
You will work hands-on alongside operations, maintenance, and contractors to identify risks, manage critical safety databases, and lead safety initiatives including audits, and incident investigations.

Qualification
Education and/or Experience
Licensed as a Staff Occupational Therapy Assistant Board of the State.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, coworkers and families.
