The Specialty Nurse is responsible for an area of specialized nursing practice and provides direct and indirect care to patients and their families in the inpatient, ambulatory, and outpatient settings.

The ideal candidate will have clinical experience in managing pediatric type 1 and type 2 diabetes and is either a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, eligible for that distinction, or making progress towards that distinction.
