* All billets will be identified with a laser-etched tag, attached using a Hilti tool.
Identification will be printed onto tag. Note: Only one tag will be stamped at a time. The required information needed on the tag will be provided on the Melt Shop Order. As a minimum heat number, product weight, grade, and strand number will be on the tag.
* Preheated to an aim temperature of two thousand (2,000) F.
with a sixty (60) minute aim pre-heat time, depending on operating circumstances.

Inspect tundish for hot spots every heat.

This position requires travel nationwide 100% of the time as an on-site Field Engineer supporting construction of 10-300MW Utility-Scale Solar PV Plants and includes Per Diem.
The candidate can live anywhere but must be able to travel to the project sites as needed.

* Document and maintain construction and engineering drawings, including but not limited to red-line sets
* Compose and manage Requests for Information (RFIs) between construction teams, engineers, vendors, and long-term project owners
* Hold subcontractors and self-perform teams accountable to their Scopes of Work
* Review construction material submittals
* Assist in the preparation of specifications, data sheets and other pre-construction planning
* Maintain storm water documentation logs and orchestrate respective remediation
* Proactively manage project constraints through collaboration with project management, engineering, and construction personnel
* Operate drones to capture construction progress/issues

* Work with various permitting agencies throughout the country to obtain construction permits that align with project schedules and contractual obligations

* Maintain engineering and design documentation through the project specific document control platform, typically ViewPoint for Projects.

* Ensure engineering work is in compliance with regulatory, applicable codes, standards, and safety practices
* Assist procurement in determining quantities, lead times, and applicability of selected equipment and material
* Actively participate in customer meetings and weekly presentations
* Manage and supervise Field Engiineer(s) while applying Principle Based Management philosophy to support the team
