The VM/Hypervisor Expert is a role for a moderately experienced engineer that can work independently with mentors and other technical experts.
They need to be skilled at managing and configuring hypervisors, building and automating virtual machines, and helping accelerate how other teams use these tools.

also need to be able to learn an expanded skillset over time including integrating on-premise and cloud VMs into a large build pipeline, designing test automations that leverage ephemeral/immutable VMs, and working with IaaS tools (Terraform) in AWS and in on-prem datacenters.
