* Assists the FNS Director in planning, directing, and supervising all FNS functions and partners with the exception of Director of FNS, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), and Nutrition and Dietetics Technician, Registered (NDTR).
* Works with the Director of FNS, RDN, NDTR, Regional Dietitian, and Administrator and follows recommendations made.
* Has a thorough understanding of all regulations (local, state, and federal) which affect FNS including, but not limited to, patient care, sanitation, labor, fire, safety, and disaster and ensures continued compliance to these regulations.
* Assists in making food and supply purchases and for maintaining expense records.
