As a key member of our inventory team, you will manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials essential to our production process.
This role ensures accurate tracking and timely supply of parts to keep our operations running smoothly, maintaining organization and efficiency within the stockroom.
Coverage hours are 7:00am-3:30pm.
Our Team
You will be part of the Inventory and Materials Management team, a group dedicated to supporting production lines by maintaining precise stock records and ensuring materials are readily available for manufacturing.
We work collaboratively with various departments to optimize inventory flow and support continuous production.
What You Will Do
* Perform regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly
* Weigh and prepare small parts for kit assembly and distribution
* Store materials systematically in designated bins, shelves, or floor locations according to stock tags
* Issue materials and door tags while keeping detailed records of stock movements
* Follow specific procedures (SP0009 Picker Note instructions) to ensure correct material handling
* Distribute stock to production workers efficiently, prioritizing pre-built stock and urgent component shortages
* Maintain computer-based inventory records, generate reports, and ensure first-in, first-out (FIFO) stock rotation
