General Purpose
The primary purpose of the Activity Assistant is to assist the Activity Director run a creative and interactive activities program.
This must be done in accordance with current federal, state, local and corporate standards, regulations, and guidelines to assure that an on-going program of activities is designed to meet, in accordance with the comprehensive assessment, the interests and physical, mental, and psychosocial needs of each resident.
Essential Duties
* Participate in planning and conducting of individual, small and large group activities.
* Assist in providing good communication between employees of all levels, residents, their families, support personnel, government agencies/personnel, and the public to ensure the needs and best interest of the residents, community and facility are met to the extent possible.
* Participate in community planning related to the interests of the facility and the services and needs of the resident and family.
* Assist in development of monthly activity calendar and maintaining attendance records.
* Assist the Quality Assurance and Assessment Committee in developing and implementing appropriate plans of action to correct identified quality deficiencies as requested by Activities Director.
* Participate in discharge planning, development and implementation of activity care plans and resident assessments.
* Assist in arranging transportation for residents when necessary including, but not limited to, resident outings, to/from appointments, or for discharge.
* Assists in developing a monthly activity schedule for residents, which include resident outings, regularly scheduled group activities, and in-room activities for bed-bound or isolated residents.
* Encourage residents to participate in self-initiated activities including hobbies, crafts, and reading Provide materials as necessary including reading materials in Braille or audio books as appropriate.
* Assist with assessment documentation, quarterly progress notes as assigned by the Activity Director.
* Keep Activity Department clean, orderly and secured.

Preferable one-year experience in a long term care facility.

The Graduate Medical Education (GME) department supports the educational programs that are sponsored by Thomas Jefferson University and Nemours Children's Health.

The PICU is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in Wilmington, DE.
The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit of Nemours Children's Health, Delaware is a 24-bed unit in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
Patients requiring care and surveillance in the PICU will have conditions and diagnoses which may include, but are not limited to, those producing: acute and reversible loss of consciousness, respiratory failure, compromised air exchange, cardiovascular dysfunction, hepatic failure, hemodynamic instability, renal dysfunction, central nervous system injury or dysfunction, acute trauma and organ failure requiring transplantation.
Treatments or interventions performed in the PICU include measures utilizing advanced life support technology.
These include, but are not limited to cardiopulmonary resuscitation, tracheal intubation, ECMO, pharmacologic support of circulation, mechanical ventilation, point of care monitoring, CRRT, thoracentesis, and hemodynamic, intracranial pressure, intravascular monitoring.
Each patient room has electrocardiographic, pulse oximetry, respiratory, hemodynamic and intracranial pressure monitoring capability, as well as central EKG and respiratory monitoring.
Portable monitoring during patient transport is provided.
Special equipment includes radiant warmer beds, heating/cooling blanket systems, Mapleson manual ventilation system, end tidal CO2 monitors, ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring systems, intracranial pressure monitoring system, ventriculostomy systems, infusion pumps, blood warmer, continuous renal replacement systems, and peripheral nerve stimulators.

Works under the supervision of the Assistant Director Cardiology.
Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative to apply and prescribe ionizing radiation for radiological procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.
Should be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her unit.
* Assists in performing diagnostic fluoroscopic angiographic procedures, coronary and peripheral interventions and Electrophysiology procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.
* Assists in caring for patients in preparation for cardiac procedures.
Assists in monitoring patient condition pre- and post-procedure.
Reports changes in the patients condition to physician or R.N.
for follow-up.
* Assists in preventative maintenance of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory equipment.
Reports all equipment malfunctions to Assistant Director and calls for services if indicated.
* Assists with supply management.
* Works as an integral part of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory team, knowing the responsibilities of each team member and being able to perform these responsibilities as needed.

Under the direction of the Retail Pharmacy Manager, the Retail Staff Pharmacist is responsible for the daily operations of the Retail Pharmacy according to Salinas Valley Health policies, standards of practice of the profession, and State and Federal laws.
Pursuant to the order of a licensed prescriber, the Retail Staff Pharmacist will be responsible for preparing and providing appropriate pharmaceuticals to patients.
