As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our inpatient and ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to:
* Provide care to patients with acute and chronic illnesses commonly encountered in pediatric neuromuscular outpatient, inpatient, and procedure-based settings.
* See patients in follow-up for routine post-procedure care and manage complications related to procedures and specialized drug administration
* Perform routine clinical procedures independently as outlined in practice agreements/scope of practice including, but not limited to, the following: Skin biopsies, lumbar puncture, specialty medication administration (Spinraza coordination, Zolgensma infusion coordination).
Education :
Minimum -
If Nurse Practitioner:
Master's or Doctorate's degree from accredited Nursing Program.
If Physician Assistant:
Bachelor's or Master's degree from accredited PA Program.
Licenses and Certifications :
Minimum -
If Nurse Practitioner: Active RN and APNP license in State of Wisconsin AND active board certification as a NP in Pediatric Primary Care Nurse or Family.
If Physician Assistant: Active PA license in State of Wisconsin AND active PA board certification.

Summary:
Under the direction of the Charge Nurse, DSD, DRHS and/or DON, the CNA is responsible for performing routine patient/resident care according to policies and procedures and within acceptable nursing standards.
