Job Summary
This role is responsible for the overall maintenance and repair of equipment, tools, and machinery as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
Job Responsibilities
* Install, adjust and repair production equipment and special purpose machines as assigned
* Operate a variety of hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, change parts and complete tasks as assigned
* Test malfunctioning machinery, determine repairs and discuss with head mechanic for approval and repair as needed
* Install equipment and electrical components and test to ensure proper functioning
* Dismantle equipment to gain access to and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools
* Lubricate and clean parts and equipment to ensure proper operation

What you'll be contributing:
* Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
* Gains full understanding and demonstrate adherence to the safety program
* Loads trucks and/ or rail cars as per the daily schedule utilizing the on-site systems
* Unloads product as per the daily schedule utilizing the on-site systems
* Operates on site mobile equipment and receive training
* Handles inquiries and orders for customers and sales personnel
* Maintains shipping logs, prepares bills of lading, and calculates split-load tonnages based on a customer's instructions
* Works with company apps for site emails, safety incident reporting, completing training and other programs.
* Maintains supply point and 5S standards
* Assists with basic maintenance of equipment on site
* Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
To succeed in this position, you will need:
* High school graduation or equivalent is required.
* Ability to read, write and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc.
* Willingness to learn, training will be provided.
* Receive basic site safety training including First Aid and all applicable LSR Training
* Receive OSHA (IHSA) 10 hour certification

Mobile Maintenance Supervisor
Oversees and performs mobile maintenance activities for construction equipment, trucks, trailers, batch plants, paving machines, bulldozers, engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and other equipment at various job locations.
