What You Will Do
* Performs thorough inspection of railcars and railcar components to identify areas of risk and opportunities for cost reduction.
* Maintains current knowledge of government and industry requirements (Federal Railroad Administration & The Association of American Railroads), customer specifications, and company policies, procedures, and work instructions.
* Inspects and ensures workmanship meets government, industry, customer, and company quality requirements.
* Perform AAR billing audits per KBX standards
* Conduct onsite training such as inspections for all types of freight cars and tank cars.
* Perform other field services activities as required.
* Ability to travel 80-100%.
Air travel expected and overnight stays as needed.
* Valid driver license required.
