Introduction and Background
The United States Institute of Peace (USIP) is a national, nonpartisan, independent institute, founded by Congress and dedicated to the proposition that a world without violent conflict is possible, practical, and essential for the United States and global security.
In conflict zones abroad, the Institute works with local partners to prevent, mitigate, and resolve violent conflict.

USIP is undertaking field programming in Papua New Guinea facilitated by a fulltime program coordinator.
USIP’s work in PNG focuses on research, policy discussions, and trainings to address drivers of violence in Papua New Guinea.
Our operations and program activities are focused geographically in Morobe Province and Port Moresby.
Purpose of the RFP
USIP is looking for a local organization or company to serve as a fiscal agent in Papua New Guinea.
The fiscal agents will support USIP operations and logistics in Papua New Guinea.
Scope of Work
The fiscal agent duties and responsibilities shall be performed for the direct benefit of USIP in accordance with, and governed by, applicable terms and conditions of USIP.
The fiscal agent does not make decisions about who receives the money or approves budgets.
The fiscal agent disburses the funds and performs other assigned duties at the direction of the Southeast Asia Senior Expert, Contracting Officer Technical Representative, or staff assigned by USIP, as long as those directives do not violate any provision of USIP.
The fiscal agent is not allowed to use USIP funds for purposes other than USIP’s operations and mission.
The scope of work may include the following duties and responsibilities but not limited to:
1.
Open separate bank accounts on behalf of USIP.
2.
Manage the relationship with the bank.
3.
Daily cash management and reconciliations.
4.
Disburse funds to vendors, service providers and local staff, as required and directed.
5.
Maintain proper accounting records and adequate documentation and safeguards.
6.
Document and send the monthly invoices, financial reports, and all supportive documents to USIP on a regular basis.

Ensure compliance with eSHEMS, SHEM 05.00 and OMS 313.
Supports managers, contractors and employees through a variety of tasks related to all aspects of EHSS as the Contractor SME.
Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material.
Expert at Life Safety Critical Policies such as LOTOT, CSE, HW, LB, Excavation, Elevated Work, Critical Lifts, and other Life Safety Rules.
Ability to effectively communicate and correct issues found in the field.
Ensure that required duties are completed accurately, delivered with high quality and in a timely manner to all stakeholders.

Riverside University Health System (RUHS) seeks multiple Temporary Health Services Assistants - DOPH who will be assigned to various units with Public Health in their Riverside, Moreno Valley, Corona, Temecula and Lake Elsinore Clinics.
The incumbent in this position will provide client education individually or in a classroom setting, obtain information from clients through WIC WISE on computer, issue benefits electronically, community-based outreach, medical provider visits, local vendor liaison events and Farmers' market programs.
Nutrition desires candidates with experience demonstrating good communication skills and knowledge of the WIC program.
Under direct supervision, assists professional staff within the Department of Public Health (DOPH) or other medical staff by providing a variety of client services, which includes basic administrative, clerical, and technical support services for clients/patients and the public; acts as a liaison between the Department of Public Health and the community; and performs other related duties as required.
Incumbents within the Health Services Assistant - Department of Public Health class is responsible for assisting the Department of Public Health professional staff by providing client services for a variety of health-related programs.
Specific assignments vary on the particular branch or program to which they are assigned.
Incumbents report to professional staff in the branch or unit to which they are assigned and, under the direction of a Medical Provider, perform a variety of duties including medical and nursing support duties for Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and Registered Nurses.
Schedule: M, W, Thu, Fri: 8:30AM-5:00PM and Tue: 10:30AM-7:00PM

Under general supervision, transports or shuttles patients, visitors, staff, and materials to various destinations inside and outside of medical facilities; performs other related duties as required.
The Medical Transportation Technician is the journey level classification in the Medical Transportation Technician series and reports to a Supervising Medical Transportation Technician.
Incumbents perform the full range of duties requiring a greater technical knowledge and are responsible for providing non-emergency transportation or shuttle services with relative independence, as supervisory guidance is not available when away from medical facilities.
The Medical Transportation Technician is distinguished from the Senior Medical Transportation Technician classification in that the latter functions in a lead capacity.
