Job Summary
Responsible for assisting with patient care as directed by the Registered Nurse and performs one-on-ones with behavioral health patients to support patient's needs.
Accountable for patient care, which incorporates clinical and clerical tasks, planning and implementation, evaluation, and intervention skills. Also responsible for the maintenance, stocking of the rooms during shift, and upkeep of the department and equipment and supplies.
Works under the supervision of the Nurse Director and/or Manager.
Minimum Job Requirements
* Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - maintain active and in good standing throughout employment
* American Heart Association BLS - maintain active and in good standing throughout employment
* Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) required within 45 days of hire
* PALS - American Heart Association PALS within 2 years of hire
* BACKGRD - Level II Background Check
* Completes basic hours of orientation, plus 12 hours of in-service training within 1 year of hire
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Prior experience working with children and/or adolescents preferred
* ACLS within 1 year of hire and in good standing throughout employment preferred
* Able to relate cooperatively and constructively with clients and co-workers
* Able to complete basic competency list and specialized skills list for position

* Provides care to patients under the direction of the RN including: taking vitals, collecting & delivering specimens to the laboratory, performing EKG, and assisting in medical procedure.

What you'll do on a typical day:
* Ensure efficient daily operations of the warehouse; prepare schedules
* Supervise the team and provide training and coaching to improve performance
* Monitor work quality to consistently deliver exceptional customer service
* Demonstrate an understanding of the company quality policy
* Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean environment at all times
* Communicate well with leadership, team members and other departments
* Implement continuous improvement action plans
What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
* 2 years of relevant work experience
* Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and computerized scanner equipment
* Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends
It'd be great if you also have:
* Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field
* 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience
* Bilingual English/Spanish
* Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment
* Warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) experience
This job requires the ability to:
* Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights
* Stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time
* Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel
* Handle or manage tools or equipment
* Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
