Job Summary:
This position coordinates the day-to-day operations of TForce Freight Service Centers.
This candidate analyzes operational data to understand productivity, service, and quality targets.
This position collaborates with the Service Center management team to develop action plans and improve service level results.
The Service Center Supervisor oversees staff within the department.
Job Responsibilities:
* Work with other managers to coordinate hiring and promotion decisions.
* Work with other managers to ensure adherence to labor agreements and address grievances.
* Participate in new hire orientation meetings and conduct safety and quality training.
* Determine employee training needs and provide feedback and support.
* Conduct performance evaluations and resolve individual and group performance issue.
* Builds labor relations by interacting with labor officials and unionized employees and addressing and resolving requests and situations.
* Coaches and develops others using career development processes and tools.

JOB DUTIES:
* Mixes specified amounts of colored putties or patching compound with water to obtain workable consistency.
* Removes flooring pieces from roundtable, examining unfinished surface for defects.
* Fills defects, such as knothole's and wormholes with putty mixture, using putty knife and places puttied pieces and non-filled flooring pieces into nesting jig with correct number of layers.
* Inspects flooring pieces at each step of packaging process.
* Removes unsatisfactory pieces from production process and places pieces in carts or return belts.

Candidate process and pre-start documents
* Provide world class customer service in every interaction to ensure a quality candidate experience
* Receive and review onboarding trigger (ESF, SIF, or other forms)
* Communicate all pre-employment screen requirements to the CSA, and coordinate contractor orientations, I9s, and other local onboarding requirements with the local field office
* Ensure all potential contract employees adhere to pre-employment screen guidelines and are removed from the process if they are not compliant
* Enter and manage background, drug testing and medical screening process for contractors
* Manage the HR folder process to ensure onboarding paperwork is completely in a timely manner
