Pulmonary Renal (PR) is a 32-bed medical-surgical floor with 30 private rooms.
Two of the private rooms can be converted into semi-private rooms in times of a higher census.
The patient population of PR is diverse.
We accept all patients age 17 and older.
PR specializes in caring for general medical patients and those patients with Pulmonary and Renal disease processes.
The most frequent diagnoses for our patients are pneumonia, cystic fibrosis, sepsis, COPD, home ventilators, pancreatitis, GI bleeds, end-stage renal disease, diabetes, and drug/alcohol withdrawal.
The strong staff and excellent teamwork make a position on this unit desirable.
The Pulmonary Renal team works collaboratively to provide excellent and compassionate care.
The patient population allows staff to strengthen nursing skills and sharpen critical thinking.
Qualifications
* California RN License
* BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
* One-year recent experience in an acute care setting.
* ACLS from the American Heart Association and specialty certification is desirable.

I.
BASIC FUNCTION
The Welder is responsible for performing all aspects of welding on inland marine vessels and equipment, including maintenance, fabrication, and structural repairs.
This position plays a critical role in ensuring the structural integrity and operational readiness of barges and boats while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance.
By executing high-quality repairs and fabrications, the Welder supports vessel reliability, minimizes downtime, and contributes directly to the safety, efficiency, and longevity of marine operations.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
1.
Performing all aspects of welding work including prepare/check equipment.
2.
Welding steel barges and ships.
3.
Stick welding - 6010, 7018 and 7024.
4.
Flux core welding in all positions using 0.52 wire.
5.
Safely operate heavy equipment and follow all safety policies and procedures.
6.
Staying compliant with all regulatory bodies as it applies to the work that is being completed and with all safety rules and policies.
7.
This position may involve travel to multiple locations.

General Purpose
Coordinates and performs housekeeping services to ensure a high standard of cleanliness both inside and outside the community.
Assists staff in completing housekeeping duties as needed.
Essential Duties
* Supervises housekeeping staff and coordinates staffing schedules to ensure the proper cleaning of offices, public areas, residences, and community grounds.
Conducts regular inspections of all resident and public areas.
* Plans and schedules cleaning programs, including but not limited to annuals, move-in preparations, and carpet cleaning.
* Monitors inventory levels, orders all equipment and supplies needed for the department, and ensures the safe handling and storage of them.
* Assists in scheduling and conducting training sessions and department meetings for housekeeping personnel.
* Ensures staff is trained on the safe handling of cleaning chemicals in accordance with department guidelines and assures compliance with local, state, and federal safety standards, MSDS, OSHA, EPA, and other applicable rules and regulations.
* Assists housekeeping staff with cleaning duties, including cleaning floors, restrooms, kitchens, resident apartments, and other areas as needed.
* May assist with monitoring the budget for the housekeeping department.
* Prepares resident charges/billing for housekeeping services when applicable.
* Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.

Qualification
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
Minimum of one year of related experience and/or training.
