The Public Safety Officer will provide security and customer service to all associates, patients, visitors, providers, contractors and vendors on Nemours Children's Hospital - Florida (NCHFL) property.
The Public Safety Officer will work his / her daily assigned post and report any incidents or suspicious activity.
This position will patrol and provide a visible deterrence on NCHFL property (internally or externally) to prevent, detect or mitigate security incidents including but not limited to theft, vandalism, trespassing, assault and intrusion.
The Public Safety Officer will respond to calls for service and codes including via phone, radio or duress alert and appropriately de-escalate or resolve the situation.
This position will maintain order and enforce NCHFL policies and procedures regarding workplace violence and zero tolerance for improper behavior.
The Public Safety Officer will respond to and appropriately report any security related incidents to the Public Safety Shift Supervisor and within the Public Safety / NCHFL reporting system.
This position will enforce NCHFL parking regulations and policies as well as the NCHFL no smoking policy.
This position will work with staff to conduct initial threat assessments and appropriate control measures.
The Public Safety Officer will monitor and enforce the Nemours Associate Badge policy.
This position will assist in monthly security and environment of care drills / audits.

Treatments or interventions performed in the PICU include measures utilizing advanced life support technology.
These include, but are not limited to cardiopulmonary resuscitation, tracheal intubation, ECMO, pharmacologic support of circulation, mechanical ventilation, point of care monitoring, CRRT, thoracentesis, and hemodynamic, intracranial pressure, intravascular monitoring.
Each patient room has electrocardiographic, pulse oximetry, respiratory, hemodynamic and intracranial pressure monitoring capability, as well as central EKG and respiratory monitoring.
Portable monitoring during patient transport is provided.
Special equipment includes; radiant warmer beds, heating/cooling blanket systems, Mapleson manual ventilation system, end tidal CO2 monitors, ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring systems, intracranial pressure monitoring system, ventriculostomy systems, infusion pumps, blood warmer, continuous renal replacement systems, and peripheral nerve stimulators.

DAP is currently looking to hire Product Information Specialist.
Responsibilities
* Provide technical expertise to customers, sales reps, and internal staff in area of proper product usage/application.
* Arrange for customer reimbursement for defective products, assist in rectifying customer complaints, and arrange for investigations on specific user complaints.
* Provide technical advice to customers Respond to phone, email, chat, and faxed inquiries regarding ‘how to use’ DAP products correctly.
* Advise customer on how to correct the misuse of DAP products.
Supply technical data sheets, verbal advice, and safety data sheets to customers.
* Respond to written, electronic and faxed correspondence regarding technical advice and user dissatisfaction.
Provide product use referrals (i.e., specify the correct product for architects, engineers, contractors, and end users).
* Rotating Saturday on Call Phone Support On-Call phone support.
Each TCSR will be included in the standard rotating schedule with the requirement to provide on-call support (remotely) one Saturday each quarter.
Saturday assignments will be posted on a quarterly schedule, once published any changes require 24-hour notice and management approval.
Requirements
* Educational requirement is High School Diploma or Bachelor's degree.
* 0-3 years' experience in customer service.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, multitasking is essential.
* Industry experience and product knowledge a plus.
* Knowledge of SAP system preferred but not required.
