The Machine Operator ensures the safe and efficient production of molded OES products within customer specifications and prepares products for shipping.
Job Responsibilities
* Reviews the production specifications of each product SKU scheduled for production prior to shift and asks clarifying questions
* Removes product from machine in adherence with machine cycle time to maintain scheduled production
* Trims, files or cuts excess flash from the product using required tools in accordance with product specifications
* Inspects each piece to ensure that it meets quality standards and customer specifications
* Advises a supervisor of product quality issues, packing damage or inconsistencies in a timely manner to limit production loss

Job Summary
The Process Technician ensures maximum uptime of OES production machines by diagnosing and addressing quality issues and variations from customer specifications due to molding machines, processes, materials, or operator interactions.
This role is eligible for bonus.
Job Responsibilities
* Initiates the start of molding machines and ensures proper functionality to support the on-time completion of production targets
* Troubleshoots molding machine malfunctions or bottlenecks that can be corrected by material changes or process adjustments
* Records the details of machine malfunctions and the appropriate adjustments as required
* Communicates and verifies necessary raw material adjustments to material handlers to improve production efficiency and accuracy
* Conducts test runs of process or machine adjustments to ensure proper machine functionality and alignment with quality standards
* Routinely changes machine inserts to customize product wording or labeling in accordance with customer specifications
* Notifies a Maintenance Technician of a machine electrical, pneumatic or hydraulic issue or problems that may require a fabricated solution
* Identifies parts or machines that need new parts or need to be replaced and places orders as necessary
* Assembles new or modified mechanical components or assemblies under the guidance of a technical Manager
* Performs routine analyses and calculations, and recommends changes in equipment, products or test methods
* Assists the on-shift supervisor with assigning operators to machines and provides direction to Machine Operator as to machine cycle time and operating multiple machines at a time
* Assists Material Handlers with troubleshooting material issues
* Other duties may be assigned as needed

In some instances, the drivers may be required to work in the End Dump department.

* Safely dumping raw materials using end dump trailer
* Transport block, mortar, and all other building materials to customer in a safe manner as needed
* Make assigned deliveries in a safe and timely manner
* Assist and supervise loading of truck to ensure proper order and weight distribution
* Receive from dispatcher invoice for materials, directions to job site and any special instructions and follow them to the detail
* Maintain complete and accurate records such as drivers' daily truck log, fuel tickets, delivery documentation, and any other required documents according to state and federal regulations
* Maintain good customer relations
* Perform pre-trip inspections of assigned vehicle and report immediately any concerns or problems
* Provide and document proper routine maintenance of assigned truck and loading/unloading equipment
* Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
