The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, Denver branch is seeking a Colorado Licensed Journeyman or a candidate who is working towards a Journey licenses with project management experience to work in an owner-occupied facility.
The candidate must be highly self-motivated and flexible in job assignments.
Qualified candidates must be familiar with 480 through 12-volt power systems.

Location
This is a Denver, CO based position that will require you to work on site to perform the essential job functions.
Key Activities:
Project Management/Coordination:
* Assists Lead Technician in project coordination and oversight for all phases of various facilities-related projects performed by coworkers and outside contractors.
These may include, but not to be limited to, construction projects involving building structure maintenance, electrical projects, or installation of new equipment and mechanical systems.
Preventative Maintenance & Repairs:
* Performs highly complex repair and maintenance of various systems and related equipment independently.
* Experience with emergency standby generators, fire alarm systems, access control wiring, CCTV installations, network cabling installations, Building Management Systems wiring and operation.
* Experience with automatic transfer switches (480v), uninterrupted power supply (UPS).
* Inspect/monitor/troubleshoot building systems.
Includes in-depth knowledge of specialized testing and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot electrical related issues in a commercial or industrial setting.
Customer Service and Work Requests:
* Communicates with customer, project manager or facilities support staff, as appropriate, regarding status of project or work requests.
* Works collaboratively with other trades and design/project management team.
* Training/Guidance in electrical safety awareness:
* Provides guidance and training to other technicians and ensures minimal disruptions to daily operations during the facilities-related projects.
* Provides guidance to technical staff in other trades on safe electrical work practices.
Contract Development & Management:
* Provides input for developing RFPs (Request for Proposal) where significant technical expertise in several areas is necessary.
Budget:
* Collaborates with lead to develop project budgets and estimates.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Works under the general direction of the Support Services Division Commander in the Police Division.
Coordinates all psychological screening of all candidates for Police Officer, Police Service Technician, Police Radio Dispatcher and Police Reserves in meeting the Tennessee Peace Officer Standards and Training Commission (P.O.S.T.) requirements.
Provides the necessary research and technical skills for designing, evaluating and implementing training programs and teaching techniques at the Police Training Academy, including stress management, Police performance evaluation techniques and basic counseling techniques.
Coordinates the Police Division's Employment Assistance Program (EAP), including counseling.
Develops and implements effective mechanisms for evaluating and promoting the most qualified Police Officer candidate for promotions.
Serves as a consultant on major issues involving personnel and psychologically related issues.
Coordinates all projects of the Police Research and Development Bureau.
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
1. Serves as an expert witness in court cases involving a Police Officer and/or Police Department.
2. Acts as liaison between the Police Department noneducational institutions, universities and mental health agencies.
3. Assists in special projects such as Career Development, Early Intervention and Field Training Officer Program.
4. Acts as consultant to other City Divisions, such as Fire Division, Park Commission and Airport Police.
5. Assists in developing and evaluating Recruiting Programs for Police Offices and Police Service Technicians.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires basic personal computer skills.
Must be able to communicate with staff and City administrators.
Requires ability to recognize behavioral characteristics, and to conduct detailed research and analysis on proposals and make valid recommendations.
Must exercise sound judgment in analysis and recommendations.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in an office environment and/or Police Training Academy.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Doctorate degree in Educational Psychology or a related field and five (5) years of professional clinical experience in behavioral health or clinical psychology with two (2) of the five (5) years working in law enforcement or military; or any combination of experience or training which enables one to perform the essential job functions.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license as a condition of continued employment.
All candidates must successfully pass a criminal justice employment background check to work within the Police Services Division.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess and maintain a current Psychologist License from the State of Tennessee.
Must be available 24 hours, 7 days a week to assist with emergencies and crisis situations.
The City Charter requires that City Employees must establish residence within Shelby County within six (6) months from date of Employment.
Proof of residence will be required at the time of hire.
