PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Processes and dispenses prescribed medications, drugs and other pharmaceuticals to dialysis patients in accordance with state and federal pharmacy regulations and applicable standards of practice.
Ensures the highest level of quality in provision of pharmacy services
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Reviews, interprets and dispenses prescriptions issued by physician ensuring patient confidentiality at all times.
* Ensures compliance with all pertinent company standard operating procedures and policies and all local, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
* Maintains established quality assurance procedures, security of all prescription medication, and appropriate disposal of materials, adhering to infection-control protocols, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
* Ensures accuracy of prescription, identifies inconsistencies, and imitates appropriate action to correct identified problems.
* Follows up with the appropriate staff and agencies to ensure that problems are resolved and corrected as required.
* Identifies, recommends and implements process improvements and efficiencies as appropriate.
* Responsible for all tasks and actions related to Schedule II medications prior to shipping.
* Manages work queues
+ Ensures functions performed by junior staff have been reviewed.
+ Verifies the preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals, order entries, and charges.
+ Acts as a resource for staff providing informal guidance, direction and advice through correct processes, procedures, and pertinent regulations.
* Makes professional decisions regarding therapy management, often requiring the use of query reports.
+ Maintains pharmacy files, charge system, and inventory, using the Pharmacy Management software, ensuring accuracy of data at all times.
+ Tracks patient data, such as patient name, prescribed medication, and cost
+ For drug recalls, runs a report to determine the names of any patients who have received the drug(s).
* Provides clinical consultation to internal personnel and/or patients regarding medication.
+ Answers questions and provides information to patients and internal personnel on drug interaction, side effects, dosage and storage of pharmaceuticals.
+ Resolves issues that arise when patient is out of medication
* Maintains current pharmaceutical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and participating in professional societies.
* Works with junior staff with pharmacy inventory, ensuring that it is maintained at all times.
* Removes outdated and damaged drugs from the pharmacy inventory.

Der Standort Mannheim ist innerhalb der Roche-Gruppe weltweites Center of Excellence für die Sterilproduktion.
Wir sind spezialisiert auf die Produktion und Verpackung von sterilen Arzneimitteln, sogenannten Parenteralia, die per Infusion oder Injektion verabreicht werden.
In der Funktion als Facharbeiter (m/w/d) Ansatz/Abfüllung unterstützen Sie die Arbeitsgruppen Ansatzherstellung und Abfüllung in der Parenteralia-Produktion.
* Ihr Tätigkeitsschwerpunkt liegt in der Herstellung von Ansatzlösungen aus Wirk- und Hilfsstoffen inklusive Sterilfiltration und Durchführung des Integritätstests von Produkt- und Belüftungsfilter
* Darüber hinaus sind Sie für die maschinelle Abfüllung von sterilen Lösungen (Vials) unter Berücksichtigung einer aseptischen Arbeitsweise und der geltenden Arbeitsanweisungen (SOPs) zuständig
* Sie dokumentieren und kontrollieren durchgeführte Arbeiten (u.a.
Integritätstests von Produkt- und Belüftungsfiltern) auf Herstellprotokollen, Schreibausdrucken und Diagrammen
* Sie arbeiten bei der Durchführung von Requalifizierungsarbeiten und der Prozessvalidierung neuer Produkte mit
* Ferner gehört die Reinigung, Desinfizierung oder Sterilisierung von Kesseln, Filtergehäusen und Kleinteilen für den Ansatzraum und die Ansatzherstellung zu Ihrem Aufgabengebiet.
Wer Sie sind:
* Ihre Ausbildung als Chemikant/Pharmakant/PTA/BTA haben Sie erfolgreich abgeschlossen
* Sie bringen mehrjährige einschlägige Berufserfahrung in der Parenteraliaherstellung mit
* Außerdem haben Sie gute Kenntnisse über die Arbeit im Hygienebereich und sind mit den einschlägigen GMP-Richtlinien vertraut

Position Summary:
$2,500 sign on bonus for Full Time Technicians.
The certified pharmacy technician is responsible for providing support and assistance to ESP clinical staff in the management of medication ordering and delivery.
Responsible for the moral and recognition of the team.
Works to build teamwork at all levels.
Works with technicians to coordinate the daily production of assigned function including narcotics and/or compliance.
Knowledgeable of department metrics and productivity levels.
Provides regular and timely feedback to colleagues regarding their performance.
Promotes a sense of “teamwork” through demonstration of self-direction and self-motivation.
Solves problems independently or knows when to seek consultation.
Full Time position, Monday-Friday and will include days, evenings and weekend rotations.
* Function as liaison between the pharmacy and the ESP interdisciplinary team to assure timely exchange of information as it relates to new orders and routine refills and meds -on –time.
* Will rotate between the day centers to accommodate MOT weeks at each site.
Assist with preparation and coordination of distribution for monthly/weekly medications.
* Assist nursing staff with maintenance of med closet. Rotate stock and check expiration dates.
Order, replace and maintain appropriate inventory & supplies as needed.

* Current valid and unrestricted certification from Pharmacy Technician Certification Board of the Institute for the Certification of Pharmacy Technician.
