ABOUT THE ROLE
Amrize is looking for a Journeyman Millwright for our Exshaw AB Cement Plant.
Millwrights are responsible for ensuring both breakdowns and planned maintenance on a variety of equipment and are completed in an efficient, safe, and environmentally friendly way.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
* The ability to troubleshoot problems.
* The ability to inspect and test equipment and make appropriate decisions.
* The ability to operate light mobile equipment, motorized manlifts and overhead cranes.
* Must be competent in PPW, to be able to add comments at the end of shift.
* Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Work Experience: Experience working with large industrial equipment.
Required Training/Certifications: Hold a valid Millwright Journeyman Red Seal ticket.
Additional Requirements:
* Own and maintain a complete set of hand tools, as required by the trade.
* Have basic computer skills.
* Be competent operating a motor vehicle.
* The capacity to work as part of a team and work independently.

* Successfully passing, physical, d&A and criminal background check is mandatory
* The capacity to work in the Millwright environment.
