PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Functions as the hemodialysis team leader in the provision of chronic hemodialysis care and treatment. Provides day to day direction and supervision to assigned direct patient care staff. Communicates with the physician and other members of the healthcare team to interpret, adjust, and complete patient care plans. Provides safe, effective delivery of patient care in compliance with standards outlined in the facility procedure manual, as well as regulations set forth by the company, state, and federal agencies.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Provide day to day guidance, support and direction to direct patient care staff, providing informal feedback on an ongoing basis and formal feedback input for the annual performance evaluation. Participate in the department staffing and the appropriate hiring, firing and disciplinary actions.
Recommend disciplinary action to Clinical Manager and initiate as appropriate.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
PATIENT CARE:
* Assist other health care members in providing patient specific detailed education regarding adequacy measures where appropriate - Online Clearance Monitoring (OLC), Adequacy Monitoring Program (AMP), Urea Kinetic Modeling (UKM), and regarding disease process/access.
* Welcome assigned patients and inquire as to their well-being since their last treatment.
Report any complaints or observations to the nurse supervisor.
* Evaluate vascular access for patency and report any unusual findings to nurse supervisor.
* Obtain necessary pre and post treatment vital signs and weight. Report unusual findings to nurse supervisor.
* Perform vascular access evaluation pre-treatment and report unusual findings to nurse supervisor.
* Perform vascular access cannulation and report any difficulties in cannulation or unusual findings to nurse supervisor.
* Perform administration of Heparin as delegated or as allowed by state law.
* Initiate dialysis treatment according to prescribed orders including blood flow (QB) and dialysate flow (QD).
* Evaluate intradialytic problems and provide intervention as prescribed by physician order or as directed.
* Monitor patients’ response to dialysis therapy and report any unusual findings to nurse supervisor.
* Obtain vital signs prior to reinfusion; perform all relevant functions necessary for the discontinuation of treatment - document.

En este rol estarás a cargo de:
* Asegurar el desarrollo del distribuidor enfocado en:
- Cumplimiento del phasing de las ventas en Sell Out
- Liderar revisiones de negocio periódicas con los Codistribuidores y clientes potenciales para dar seguimiento a indicadores y planes de acción
- Gestionar la excelencia en la ejecución en conjunto con Trade Marketing MSID, asegurando:
* La correcta ejecución de indicadores de Perfect Store en tiempo y forma
* La correcta ejecución de las actividades promocionales según Master Plan
* Acordando planes de acción en clientes con potencial
* Monitorear los niveles de inventarios en las bodegas de los clientes, mediante el control en los excesos y balance de producto, con el fin de cumpir con los parámetros establecidos
* Optimizar la cobertura efectiva/distribución numérica en el territorio asignado, según objetivos trimestrales
* Monitorear el desempeño de los diferentes grupos de clientes en el territorio asignado, recomendando acciones para alcanzar los objetivos de sell out y desarrollo de marcas foco (big bets)
* Mantener y fortalecer la relación comercial directa de KC con los top clientes
* Desarrollar los capabilities de la fuerza de ventas a través de capacitaciones y on the job coaching
* Supervisar la ejecucion del presupuesto de inversión promocional de sus clientes, garantizando la efectividad de las acciones enfocando el 80% de las acciones variables según cumplimiento Sell Out
* Dar seguimiento a los cambios de precio y nuevas dinámicas (condiciones especiales) de la competencia y del resto de categorias complementarias
* Mantener los medios de comunicación y de relación adecuados con los clientes principales del distribuidor, mediante las visitas regulares, con el fin de analizar el comportamiento del negocio y mantener la debida relación comercial
