Clinical On-Call Therapist Position Summary:
The Clinical On-Call Therapist provides clinical consultation, guidance, and oversight to Mobile Crisis Responders across the five-county region (Cayuga, Cortland, Madison, Onondaga, and Oswego) during evenings, overnight, weekends, and holidays.
While on shift as the Clinical On-Call Therapist, the employee does not perform responder duties.
The position ensures timely clinical support, triage, and decision-making for crises, promoting safety, continuity of care, and adherence to program policies and standards.
Clinical On-Call Therapist Job Responsibilities:
· Provides clinical consultation and support to Mobile Crisis responders in real time.
· Assists with triage and clinical decision-making when Mobile Crisis teams are engaged in active interventions.
· Debriefs responders and provides guidance following crisis incidents.
· Interprets and implements program policy and procedures consistent with Mobile Crisis goals.
· Provides timely written summaries, updates, and documentation in EMR and/or Microsoft 365.
· Communicates critical updates to Program Supervisors for follow-up and continuity of care.
· Collaborates with leadership on quality improvement and oversight of the clinical on-call process.
· Completes timely and accurate documentation in line with agency and program standards.
Work Environment:Â
This is a remote, on-call clinical role that provides consultation and support outside of typical business hours, including evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday coverage. Clinical on-call therapists do not work in the community and do not provide in-person services.Â

Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse assumes a leadership role in the Emergency Department.
This includes triaging patients to the appropriate level in a timely fashion, providing nursing care to patients of all ages, directing the general patient flow through the department, and taking appropriate steps in following up lab and x-ray results.
The nurse is responsible for timely and accurate documentation of his/her nursing care in accordance with policy and procedures.
The nurse is also responsible for collaboration with other members in a multi-disciplinary team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
* Assess the health status of individuals and detect changes in order to take necessary actions.
* Documents all care information concisely, accurately and completely in a timely manner.
Documentation to also include (pain assessment/re-assessment, medication administration and patient ED course).
* Triages patients and assigns accurate acuity based on standards of care and department policy.
* Assumes responsibility for direct patient care and prepares patients for exams.
* Safely and effectively administers medications, tests and treatments as ordered.

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in our Crisis program, staff must be comfortable responding to interfering behaviors and implementing physical intervention techniques daily.
In addition to responding to interfering behaviors daily, staff will also assist individuals in working toward their personal goals. DSP staff support our persons served with tasks such as self care, community outings, homework, shopping, cleaning, attending appointments, and taking medication.
Staff should feel comfortable providing personal care, medical supports, and other daily personal cares and supports to those they assist. Please note, all staff will be cross trained at 1-2 other programs for training purposes.

* Respond to interfering behaviors including verbal and physical aggressions.
* Implement physical intervention techniques including Emergency Use of Manuel Restraints (when permitted and required).
* Work on tailored outcomes with each person in the home.
Outcomes may include behavioral management, community exploration, meal planning, organizational skills, coping skills, and/or physical fitness.
* Be an active participant with individuals served when working on outcomes and out in the community.
* Assist with personal cares as needed per person served.
* Provide guidance and instructional teaching to persons while building life skills.
* Provide cleaning, cooking and medication administration to the individuals living at the home.
