Maximus is seeking a Storage Administrator to provide expertise to a federal client in support of their mission critical systems in defense of our Homeland.
We are seeking an experienced Storage Administrator to join our team.
As a Storage Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's storage infrastructure.
Your role will involve overseeing storage administration, provisioning, troubleshooting, and ensuring the availability, performance, and security of our storage systems.
This position is on-site, five days a week and requires an active secret clearance.

Job-Specific Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain the storage infrastructure, including storage area networks (SAN).
- Monitor storage performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies to ensure optimal throughput and reliability.
- Provision storage resources and allocate space to meet the needs of the organization's applications and data.
- Troubleshoot and resolve storage issues, collaborating with cross- functional teams and vendors as necessary.
- Implement and maintain storage security measures, including access controls, encryption, and data protection mechanisms.
- Conduct storage capacity planning and forecasting to accommodate future growth and changing business requirements.
- Create and maintain documentation related to storage configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Ensure appropriate storage medium are controlled and accounted for in the inventory, and released to off-site processes and to on-site storage areas.
- Ensure all restorable media; necessary copies of software, documentation, and supplies stored at the off-site location are kept current and reviewed periodically for relevance.
- Maintain procedures for delivery of the backup materials to recovery facilities/site.
- Additional tasks to be assigned as needed.

- Active Secret security clearance required.

- This is an on-site position at a government facility.
- Requires presence on-site five days per week.

The Tier 2 Support Agent works under established plans to collect, verify, and analyze support and operational data related to system performance, incident response, and user-reported issues.
Identifies trends, recurring technical problems, and systemic issues to support proactive service management and technical resolution efforts.
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain an active Public Trust security clearance and is contingent upon award.

- Work on a variety of projects requiring considerable judgement and initiative.
- Demonstrate in-depth understanding of technical tactics, and may have supervisory responsibilities.

* Escalate unresolved issues to Tier 3.
Job-Specific Minimum Requirements:
* 2 years of related work experience is required.
* Bachelor's degree is required.
An associate's degree + 2 years of work-related experience or a high school diploma/ GED + 4 years of work-related experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree requirement.
* Due to federal requirements, candidates must be US Citizens without Dual Citizenship to another country.
* The ability to obtain, and maintain, a Public Trust clearance is required.
