Schneider Electric's prefabricated modular data center business is seeking a Summer 2026 Electrical Engineer Intern to join our engineering team based in West Chester, Ohio.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the design and implementation of electrical systems within our rapidly expanding division.
The intern will assist in designing electrical power distribution, grounding, lighting, and critical equipment needs for modular data centers while learning from experienced engineers.
What will you do?
* Assist in the design and preparation of electrical drawings and documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and project requirements.
* Support the modification of wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, one-lines, and other standard electrical drawings.
* Participate in the review and design of electrical systems to meet customer specifications.
* Help develop solutions that align with the intended Sequence of Operations.
* Maintain and assist in the approval of schematics and wiring diagrams that capture integration requirements for major equipment in the modular data center solution.
* Contribute to the development of the Bill of Materials for electrical components of system designs.
* Ensure compliance with internal processes and assist in design reviews.
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
* Pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field.
