Maximus is currently hiring for Diagnostic Report Tracking Specialists to join our Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) team.
This is a remote opportunity.
The Diagnostic Report Tracking Specialist is responsible for following up on diagnostic results for VHA/VBA cases daily and on results requested by QA or the managers.
Additionally, they'll investigate No Shows for diagnostic appointments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Investigate on diagnostics over 48 hours late; - Review diagnostic reports matching in OMS; - Leave comments for each call made or follow up with Facility; - Call Veteran to verify if they completed their test.
If Facility says they have not done so then also to confirm correct Name and DOB; - Receive diagnostic mail - Confirm diagnostic is uploaded in OMS; - Manage Facility online web portals for diagnostic reports; - Faxes ROI forms per Facility request to their medical records department; - Follow up QA request for late Diagnostic reports Additional Duties and Responsibilities: - Pull reports from Facility portal and send to uploader; - Respond to voicemails and emails within 24 hours; - Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: - High levels of organization, time management, job prioritization, multi- tasking and interpersonal skills necessary to provide effective work atmosphere and to develop as well as to maintain a productive working relationship with staff members, veterans, physicians and VA; - Effective and concise communication skills necessary to provide information in a courteous and comprehensive fashion (oral and written) with the goal of positive resolution(s); - Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point; - Advanced multi- tasking skills; - Knowledge of medical terminology; - Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; - Some College preferred.
- Call center experience highly preferred
- Ability to commit to a training schedule of 8:00am-5:00pm CT Monday - Friday required
- Ability to commit to a two week training with zero absences required
- Ability to work a schedule within the hours of 7:00am-6:00pm CT Monday - Friday required

Day-in-the-Life of a Pharmacy Technician in-Training:
* Enter prescription information including but not limited to: patient searches, prescriber searches, drug selection, prescription interpretation, insurance billing, and basic documentation.
* Accept customer and prescription information required to process new and refill prescriptions, including refill authorization from doctor offices.
* Retrieve medication from inventory.
* Create prescription labels and put them on prescription containers.
* Place medication into prescription containers.
* Complete paperwork related to filling prescriptions and input customer and prescription data into the computer.
* Assist with maintaining the Pharmacy department by keeping it clean and in order.
* Assist in inventory management processes including order review, inventory returns, restocking shelves, and physical inventory preparation.
* Administer Rite Aid programs including FlavoRx, Living More, etc.
Taking care of patients is not a 9-5 job.
Our Pharmacy Technicians come into this role knowing that they will be working weekdays, weekends, evening shifts, and some holidays.
