The Senior Director of Quality for Veteran Evaluation Services (VES) leads the strategic direction and execution of quality initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and drive continuous improvement across the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Connect organizational objectives and quality with performance improvement activities to include development of goals and dashboards, collaborating on creation of the agendas for the steering committee and regularly presenting progress on specific programs.
- Coordinate quality and risk management activities and promotes the integration of quality services and initiatives through collaboration with all departments.
- Develop and revise policies and programs as needed to ensure compliance with licensing/accrediting standards and state/federal rules and regulations to ensure provision of quality services and to reduce vulnerability to fraud, abuse and waste.
- Direct management of quality monitoring systems, quality reviews, analysis, corrective action.
- Lead all compliance certifications and re-certifications, including ISO 9001 quality management standards.
- Oversight of staff that conduct actions according to Federal, State and Corporate policies including HIPAA, HITECH, Personal Health Information (PHI) and Personal Identifying Information (PII).
- Provide leadership for all compliance including ISO certification.
- Oversight of contacts outside the business and develop contracts that meet the financial and professional goals of the business.

The Vermont Health Exchange (VT HIX) project provides support for the state of Vermont Medicaid access.
We provide customer service assistance for the State of Vermont's Medicaid eligibility and health plan enrollment request.
This role is a temporary position created for open enrollment.
The duration of this position is determined by business needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise the work of call center staff to ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures, correcting errors or problems as needed
- Interview and recommend hiring and promotion of contact center staff, through partnering with Talent Acquisition and Human Resources
- Develop work schedules and assign duties to direct report personnel to ensure efficiency
- Evaluate employees' job performance and recommend appropriate personnel action, including disciplinary action, performance improvement plans, and termination through partnering with Human Resources
- Discuss job performance concerns with employees to identify causes and issues and work closely with Human Resources on resolving problems
- Ensure compliance with company Wage & Hour policy, including ensuring non-exempt employees get their rest & meal breaks
- Provide support and identify training needs and development opportunities, through weekly coaching sessions with direct reports
- Perform operational tasks to assure project and program service level requirements and goals are met, including analyzing direct reports' quality performance and trending call types, and providing coaching on a regular basis
- Participate in meetings and recommend changes to policies and procedures
- Assume leadership responsibility for departmental tasks and call center activities as required
- Support and enforce call center expectations
- Oversee the work of subordinates to facilitate productivity or to overcome difficult aspects of work.
- Assist direct reports with escalated issues or cases as needed- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality while performing all work tasks
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant professional experience required.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree, or demonstrated ability to perform the role successfully.
6 months or more of supervisor/leadership skills preferred
Previous call center experience preferred

Day-in-the-Life of a Pharmacy Technician in-Training:
* Enter prescription information including but not limited to: patient searches, prescriber searches, drug selection, prescription interpretation, insurance billing, and basic documentation.
* Accept customer and prescription information required to process new and refill prescriptions, including refill authorization from doctor offices.
* Retrieve medication from inventory.
* Create prescription labels and put them on prescription containers.
* Place medication into prescription containers.
* Complete paperwork related to filling prescriptions and input customer and prescription data into the computer.
* Assist with maintaining the Pharmacy department by keeping it clean and in order.
* Assist in inventory management processes including order review, inventory returns, restocking shelves, and physical inventory preparation.
* Administer Rite Aid programs including FlavoRx, Living More, etc.
Taking care of patients is not a 9-5 job.
Our Pharmacy Technicians come into this role knowing that they will be working weekdays, weekends, evening shifts, and some holidays.
