The Sterility Assurance Laboratory Analyst conducts studies following established approved procedures and under the supervision of the Study Director or Department Manager.
Additionally, the Sterility Assurance Laboratory Analyst performs their work in a Cleanroom, isolator or walk-in incubator environment, records data concurrently, maintains traceability of samples throughout testing and notifies the Study Director of any unforeseen circumstances or events that occur during testing.
Laboratory Analysts conduct testing under supervised conditions in accordance with established procedures.
Successful lab analysts are people who enjoy conducting tests following written instructions, who pay close attention to detail to make sure everything is done correctly, and who have high standards of personal integrity so that they deliver high-quality results.
Education/Experience:

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor or Process Supervisor, the Operator is responsible for coordinating all activities on the conveyor by organizing the work orders at the load and unload stations.

Responsibilities
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Fabricate, position and form structural metal/fiberglass products.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Use and conduct proper care of PPE.
• Sets up and operates fabricating machines, such as brakes, rolls, shears, saws, and presses, to cut, bend, straighten, and form metal/fiberglass plates, sheets and structural shapes according to blueprints and specifications.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, engineering specifications, and shop orders to determine machine setup, production methods, and sequence of operation.
• Selects, positions, and secures dies, blades, cutters, and fixtures onto machine, using rule, square, shims, templates, hand tools, and built-in gauges.
• Starts machine and observes machine operation to reposition work piece, change dies, or adjust machine settings for multiple or successive passes.
• Inspects or measures work, using rule, gauges, and templates.
• Lifts work piece manually or with hoist, and positions and secures it on machine table in drilling jig or holding fixture.
• Moves machine controls to feed tools into work piece, and engages automatic feed or manually holds.
• Observes machine operation, and verifies conformance of work piece to specifications, using fixed gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
• Changes worn cutting tools, using wrenches.
• Moves controls to adjust cutting speeds, feed rates, and depth of cut.
• Support the Altec Production System (APS).
