Chubb is currently seeking a Workers' Compensation Lost Time Claim Examiner for our Central Region, reporting to either our Dallas, TX or Chicago, IL office.
The successful applicant will handle claims in multiple jurisdictions that make up the Central Region office.
Jurisdictions handled in the Central Region include, IL, TX, IN, MI, IA, MO, KS, MN, WI, SD, KY, LA, OK, AR, and NE.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
* Evaluate and determine coverage on incoming workers' compensation claims
* Investigates and determines compensability on lost time workers' compensation claims
* Handles all aspects of workers' compensation lost time claims from set-up to case closure, ensuring strong customer relations are maintained throughout the process
* Timely administration of statutory medical and indemnity benefits
* Sets reserves within authority limits for medical, indemnity, and expense exposure anticipated on lifespan of the claim file
* Manage medical plans for injured workers through internal and external collaboration
* Collaborate with external counsel in bringing litigated claim files to resolution
* Manage return to work plans through collaboration with the insured, external business partners, and the injured worker
* Provide exceptional and timely customer service on all requests from involved parties
* Assure regulatory requirements are met on all claim files including form filings, EDI submissions, file coding, and more
* Refers appropriate claims to subrogation and secures necessary information to ensure that recovery opportunities are maximized
* Knowledge of workers' compensation statutes, regulations, and compliance demands
* Ability to incorporate data analytics and modeling into daily activities

Overview
Maintain the hotel rooms and building to ensure safe and clean experience for hotel guests, associates, and vendors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending, and stooping.
* Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.
* Strip beds and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 50 lbs.
* Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.
* Push and pull vacuum throughout the entire room and empty trash.
* Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room.
* Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms and restock heavy cart.
Visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance and signify completion for room.
* Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
* Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
* Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extend arms over head to perform cleaning tasks, and work in confined spaces.

Overview
Assist the Outlet Manager and Restaurant Servers in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, as well as providing guests stellar service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting.
Promptly and consistently reset all service ware.
* Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen, and condiments.
* Serve guests with beverages, bread, and butter to begin their dining experience and replenish as necessary.
* Transport all dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area for proper cleaning.

To ensure Housekeeping Department cleans and maintains guest rooms and public space in accordance with client/guest expectations and HEI Standards of Product and Service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Oversees staff of room attendants, house persons, and inspectors by conducting daily and monthly meetings, inspecting staff work and giving guidance so that deficiencies are corrected, and standards are met.
