Responsibilities
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Serves as a Tier 2-3 subject matter expert and administrator for Microsoft 365 apps and the Microsoft Copilot ecosystem (Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Chat, and Cowork).
Owns Copilot and Cowork configuration, Microsoft 365 license operations, and Jira (Atlassian) administration, and partners closely with the AI Enablement Specialist to turn AI access policy and adoption goals into a well-run, secure platform.
This position can work from any Altec manufacturing location, with preference given to associates located in Birmingham, AL; St.
Joseph, MO; Creedmoor, NC; or Mt.
Airy, NC.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
* Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science or related technical discipline strongly preferred and 4 years relevant experience OR 6 years relevant work experience
* Experience administering Microsoft 365 apps and services
* Experience with Microsoft Copilot administration preferred
* PowerShell or scripting experience

The Technician II-2nd Shift is responsible for conducting testing in support of EMC product evaluation.
Duties range from setting up the equipment under test (EUT) to conducting and reporting test results.
This position will travel up to 5%.
Shift/Schedule: This position will be scheduled to work during 2nd shift.
Training for the role will occur during 1st shift.
Once trained, individual will assume 2nd shift responsibilities.
