Our Construction Equipment Group is seeking a full-time Branch Administrator to support our Gary, IN location.
The primary responsibilities of the position consist of, but are not limited to:
* Answering and directing telephone calls/messages to appropriate personnel
* Greeting customers and vendors
* Order office & kitchen supplies
* Mail processing
* Maintaining proper inventory of literature
* Provide support to the administrative & sales staff
* Assist with coordination of internal employee & training events
* Incorporate Alta's Guiding Principles into daily activities
* Performs other duties as assigned
* Consistent, regular, and reliable attendance including being ready for work at the designated start time
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
* Must have at least three years of Administrative / Service work experience
* Previous customer service experience is highly preferred.
* Must have strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Previous ERP experience is a plus.
* Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of coworkers, as well as customers.
* Language Skills - Intermediate: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
