This program consists of providing peer support services to individuals who are justice involved and at risk of being found incompetent to stand trial (IST).
This position offers a 9/80 schedule Monday - Friday with Regular Day off Fridays assigned by the supervisor and is located in Banning, CA .
Valid CA drivers License is required as frequent driving to detention centers is needed.
A consumer Peer Support Specialist/Trainee is needed for this position.
A Consumer PSS/T is someone who has personally utilized behavioral health services in order to obtain/maintain behavioral health recovery for a minimum of one year.
In order to be considered, candidates must be able to share personal recovery experiences with others.
HOW IT WORKS
