Schneider Electric is looking for an Individual Responsible to provide Professional Services for APC-MGE UPS (uninterruptible power supply) customers including technical site analysis to resolve customer issues and to perform field service duties on APC-MGE's complete range of single-phase and 3-phase equipment.
Apply fundamental knowledge of job site electrical safety, electrical distribution systems, basic test and measurement equipment, in-depth knowledge of electrical code and IEEE requirements, and in-depth knowledge of electronic principals is required.
A high level of customer service skills is required as well as the ability to travel.
Main Responsibilities
* Perform Startup/Commissioning on all APC-MGE equipment across the entire APC-MGE product line on single module and multi-module systems;
* Perform Preventive Maintenance on all APC-MGE equipment across the entire APC-MGE product line on single module and multi-module systems;
* Perform Unscheduled Maintenance on all APC-MGE equipment across the entire APC-MGE product line on single module and multi-module systems;
* Perform basic Power Audits of customer's distribution systems, working with Sales to complete Availability Assessments;
* Document all required information for each site visit performed;
* Work with other team members to complete custom and large installation projects;
* Properly document, label, and return all defective parts utilized in the repair of APC-MGE equipment to the designated disposal/repair location;
* Educate APC-MGE customers on basic operation of their equipment.
Inform customers of issues which they may have experience with their equipment in a way which is beneficial to the customer as well as APC-MGE;
* Assist APC-MGE Service Partners in site visits, evaluating technical and professional performance;
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills required:
* Electrical Engineering Technologist with 3-4 years of field experience or Certified Journeyman Electrician with minimum3-4 years of Commercial and Industrial experience;
* Prior experience in the industrial electric field is a plus;
* Prior 3 phase UPS experienced is a plus;

Overview:
The Project Engineering Team is looking for a Principal Mechanical Engineer to support the design of medium voltage electrical power distribution equipment based on our customer's plans and specifications.
These products are applied to distribute utility and generator power to various environments, including industrial, water/wastewater, and data centers.
The candidate is responsible for designing medium voltage switchgear, implementing designs, and supporting product production at our manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities:
* Creation of custom medium voltage switchgear; unique customization of "base" designs for specific customers and/or applications while maintaining compliance with all performance, design, and Standards criteria
* Review and interpret technical specifications and drawings
* Create 3D models and 2D drawings for development of custom switchgear inclusive of busbar, barriers, and sheet metal parts
* Demonstrate capability of 2D and/or 3D modifications of high complexity parts and assemblies for adaptation into assigned order
* Develop and maintain bills of materials to meet custom applications
* Ability to design sheet metal, bus, and related mechanical parts and assemblies for the product line assigned.
This includes understanding of the material requirements and fabrication processes to create 2D and 3D models.
Prediction of finished part dimensions after forming must be demonstrated.
Understand the application and mechanical properties of the materials used
* Collaborate with Design Engineering and Technical Antenna team to ensure compliance and design intent of customer mechanical parts/assemblies are maintained
* Coordinate with production and other support functions to resolve design questions or challenges promptly
* Serve on local projects other related business transformation activities in leading change to improve productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction

* Set-up, operate and adjust all the types of equipment such as trumpf, barline, finnpower, engel roll-form, etc.
* Fill in for other operators in same class and area as needed.
* Start up and shut down the equipment.
* The running of the line in auto or manual.
* The removal and loading of rawstock into the line as required.
* Making ready all materials to be run and to conduct all quality test for possible defects.
* Sort and dispose of scrap and write scrap tickets.
* Work from blue prints, sketches, routings, computer, or other documents.
* Maintain quality and productivity standards.
* Inputs information into the system either at the operator control station or a PC computer (such as schedules, quality information, downtime reasons, PM information, inslipping, etc.).
