What You Will Do
* Bring new automotive antenna products to life by developing and executing validation plans that ensure performance in real-world conditions
* Design and build hands-on test setups, fixtures, and methods to evaluate product reliability and functionality
* Run mechanical and environmental testing (vibration, thermal, durability) on prototypes and production parts
* Turn test data into insight, analyzing results to understand material behavior, product performance, and failure points
* Investigate and troubleshoot failures, partnering with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and drive improvements
* Support Design of Experiments (DOE) and validation activities to solve complex engineering and production challenges
* Collaborate with internal teams and external labs to keep testing on track and aligned with program milestones
* Communicate results and recommendations clearly through reports and presentations to stakeholders and customers
* Help evolve lab capabilities by improving test methods, tools, and validation processes
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field
* Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience planning and executing environmental and mechanical testing, including vibration, thermal cycling, thermal shock, humidity, durability, and other qualification testing methods.
* Demonstrated ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, or test requirements through coursework or project work
Working knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals (e.g., stress, strain, fatigue, thermal effects)
* Experience documenting and communicating technical results (e.g., lab reports, test summaries, presentations)
* Basic proficiency with CAD tools (e.g., Siemens NX, SolidWorks, Creo, or similar)
* Ability to communicate technical concepts and test results to both technical and non-technical audiences, including internal teams and external partners (e.g., customers or suppliers)
