At Big West Oil, our Project Engineers are crucial to our success.
We're looking for an experienced Project engineer to join our team, focusing on the execution of capital projects with a specific emphasis on Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I).
You'll be fully integrated with operations, maintenance, and reliability teams, taking ownership of projects from start to finish and making a direct impact on the safety and efficiency of our refinery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Design and provide project engineering support for the Capital Projects Department, as well as act as an in-house SME on electrical and instrumentation systems.
* Verify and finalize components of engineering work packages, including specialty items, tie-in lists, line lists, and related isometrics.
* Work with the inspections department to generate and resolve identified issues related to fixed equipment and electrical, and instrumentation systems.
* Generate and complete Management of Change (MOCs) for assigned projects.
Maintain current and accurate process safety information for MOCs on their unit.
* Support construction activities, including troubleshooting issues as they occur in the field.
* Support turnaround activities as they occur, with a focus on E&I discovery and repair work, but not limited to E&I.
* Participate in related task forces and incident investigations as required, such as PHA action item resolutions, collaborating interdepartmentally and with contractors as needed.
* Responsible for managing projects with a wide range of capital levels from micro projects ($200,000) to large/mega ($20M).
* Good technical knowledge about DCS/PLC controls and field instruments, Electrical MCC, transformers, PDC, and major equipment for managing instrumentation and electrical-driven projects.

Responsibilities
Maintain all dies, support equipment, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting problems. Fabricate details using blueprints, sketches, oral instructions using Manual Mills, Lathes and Grinders. The Tool and Die Journeyman will be able to effectively read detailed blueprints and fabricate parts to specified tolerances using a variety of materials and processes.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Ability to operate Tool and Die equipment including welding and heat treat.
Ability to Operate all tool and die manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
Understand blueprint reading, utilize personal protective equipment per company guidelines. Ability to run a Wire EDM is a plus.
Language Skills: Ability to understand and follow work related instructions.
Ability to communicate with a diversified Team.
Mathematical Skills: Basic Math using Standard, Metric measurement systems. Ability to make conversions, trigonometry
Reasoning Ability: The ability to analyze and troubleshoot machinery and processes.
Follows directions given by Journeymen, Technical Services supervisor and Technical Services Manager.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: DOL Journeyman’s card preferred but not required.

Position Title: Assistant Mine Engineer
Location: Consol Pennsylvania Coal Company – Bailey Mine
Position Summary
This position is an intermediate engineering position located at Bailey Mine, part of the Pennsylvania Mining Complex.
This position is responsible for preparing plans and reports for State and Federal Agencies.
Target Responsibilities
* Must adhere to CONSOL Energy’s Core values including Safety, Compliance, and Continuous Improvement
* Ensure the company's "Absolute ZERO" safety culture is embedded in all work performed
* Requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations
* Must comply with company policies, federal and state laws, and regulatory standards
* Assists Mine Engineer and Mine Management in all daily tasks needed to operate multiple Continuous Miner Sections and Longwalls.
* Monitor daily production at the mine and verify MPR input versus Shift Productions and Delay reports for STIC.
* Manage and work with Mine Surveyors and Draftsman to verify check line surveys are accurate and within 2,000 feet of all section face locations.
* Work underground routinely to check on projects, section conditions, and bleeder and air course ventilation.
* Coordinate Degas borehole sites, CBM Wells and Flares for the Bailey Operation.
* Maintain the CONSOL Forecaster program, evaluate mine timing, and assists the Mine Engineer with projections and mine planning.
* Manage gas well pillar permits, cut thru plans and agency submittals, coordinate mines need with Project engineers.
* Work with the Mine Foremen and other mine management in ventilation, mapping, and updating mine maps and ventilation.
* Work with the Project engineers to coordinate the underground to surface interaction of projects.
* Coordinate and supervise special projects, belt installations, and mine fresh water and discharge projects.
* Write requisitions, obtain purchase orders and tracks expenditures: for contracts, and projecting materials.
* Make budget recommendations to managers responsible for financing and approving budgets.
* Travel between various mine/job sites, to and from MSHA, and state agencies when necessary.
Minimum Requirements
* Must be 18 years of age
* Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering or a related Engineering field, or equivalent experience is required.
* Requires 2 - 5 years of related experience in mine operations and mine ventilation.
* Must be able to work overtime, weekends and holidays as schedule requires
* Must be able to work safely and effectively as part of a team
* Must possess effective verbal communication skills and all Microsoft office software proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
