POSITION SUMMARY
The Supplier Quality Engineer Co-op will support ABIOMED’s primary technical contacts with all US based suppliers, assist with Quality team’s supplier initiatives, nonconformance investigations and Quality Inspection alignment. This role is a key technical resource for the company’s continued growth, and is a great opportunity for someone to make a difference at one of the fastest-growing medical technology companies, focused on recovering hearts and saving lives.
This role will provide opportunities for the co-op in the areas of leadership, hands-on learning, and exposure to the MedTech field.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Post Market Mechanical Engineering Co-Op role on the Post Market Engineering Team will use hands-on engineering principles to conduct post market investigations of FDA approved medical devices.
In this position, you will conduct complaint failure investigations and support limited market releases of novel engineering products.
In this position you will develop a basic and broad engineering skillset to include root cause analysis, fixture design, Impella product knowledge, and cardiology clinical background.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
