Position Summary
ALL Crane Rental of Louisiana, LLC is seeking a field Service Technician & Erector for lattice boom crawler cranes.
Hands-on experience with cranes and lift equipment is required.
Prefer local candidates or those willing to relocate.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position with comprehensive Benefits package.
This position is eligible for a $300 sign-on bonus payable after 100 days of successful employment.
Essential Functions
* Assembly and disassembly of lattice boom crawler cranes.
* Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on all makes of crawler cranes.
* Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify components as needed.
* Reads, understands and interprets operating manuals, parts manuals, blueprints and technical drawings.
* Positive interface with service writers, supervisor, parts department and customers.
* Prepare proper documentation of actions taken.
* Able to work with diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting and repairs.
* Maintain conformity to safety requirements and other regulations.
Skills and Experience Requirements
* Must have a Class A or B CDL with an acceptable driving record
* Must have a strong diesel engine, hydraulic and electrical background
* Must have basic set of mechanic’s hand tools
* Strong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
* Ability to work safely around moving machinery; to work in conditions with marked changes in temperature & humidity
* Ability to safely operate complex construction equipment
* Able to lift 50 lbs
Manufacturer’s training will be an integral part of this position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Diagnose & repair company equipment using specialized tools and meters as well as hand & power tools.
* Perform preventative maintenance to ensure reliability of equipment.
* Adjust, repair and/or replace parts in engines, transmissions, differentials, brakes and other equipment.
* Observe, listen and operate mechanical devices (both in and out of operations) to locate causes of trouble or signs of failure.
