We are seeking a Clinical Exercise Physiologist (Exercise Physiologist, Exercise Specialist, Cardiac Rehab Therapist):
* Join an organization that had one of the original cardiac rehabilitation programs starting in the 1960s!
* Coordinate a treatment plan to meet the clinical and educational needs of heart patients, families, patients at risk for cardiovascular disease and patients with peripheral artery disease.
* Work at an academic medical center with unique cases.
* Be a contributor to the evolution of outpatient cardiac rehabilitation by not requiring ECG monitoring every session.
* Receive wonderful support from our medical director, cardiologists, and advanced practice providers.
* Conduct stress tests with and without nuclear imaging.

Qualifications
* Master's Degree in clinical Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Exercise Science or related field with emphasis in cardiac rehabilitation Required
Work Experience
* Three (3) month internship in a comprehensive cardiac rehabilitation program Required
* One or more years of relevant clinical experience in cardiac rehabilitation Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
* Current CPR and ACLS certification Upon Hire Required.
* American College of Sports Medicine Clinical Exercise Physiology certification (ACSM-CEP) Upon Hire Required

We are seeking a Medical Communications Specialist to:
* Triage incoming calls for urgent and emergent patient transfers from the Access Center for interfacility flights.
Log time and nature of each call.
* Triage incoming calls and direct radio requests for scene flights from the regional 911 center, county sheriff departments, or emergency response agencies including police and fire departments and EMS units.
* Collect available patient medical information from referring facilities for all patients being transported to University Hospital and American Family Children's Hospital.
Relay this information to the Emergency Department, Admissions Office, and/or the receiving unit.
* Continuously monitor telephones, radios, emergency alert scanner, and the intrahospital encrypted radio in effort to be made aware of scene flights as early as possible.
* Establish appropriate radio and landline communications with requesting agencies to secure landing zone instructions.
Relay initial patient medical report to the flight crew
Education :
Minimum - High School Diploma or GED
Preferred - Associates Degree or higher
Work Experience :
Minimum - Two (2) years of experience in an emergency services role such as an Emergency Medical Dispatcher, Emergency Medical Technician, or comparable role
Preferred - Three (3) years of professional work experience in customer service, physician referral, or emergency medical dispatch
Licenses & Certifications :
Preferred - EMT - Paramedic
