Your Responsibilities as a Locator:

These are daytime, full-time positions and overtime is required.
We have a 48-hour turnaround time on most locates, which means we generally work the day after holidays and some weekends, as needed.

The Payroll Specialist will ensure the accurate execution of USIC payroll.
This position will function as the primary processor of payroll data input for on-schedule and off-cycle payrolls.

Responsibilities
* Input and audit payroll data entries from various internal or external sources.

* Conduct payroll processing audits in preparation for payroll processing start and final signoff.
* Prepare daily on-demand payment entries including payroll adjustment, termination final payment, and bank ACH reissue.
* Adjust employees’ PTO accrual when properly approved.
* Research and respond to ZenDesk tickets to ensure tickets are assigned, followed up, and resolved timely.
* Support employees by answering Tech Service Center phone calls for payroll questions during business hours.
* Coordinate with service vendors to complete data exchange submissions or audits.
* Complete verification of employment for unemployment or other creditor inquiries.
* Closely follow standard operational procedures and requirements.
* Able to meet various processing deadlines.
* This position will support payroll processing for all pay groups; other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent payroll experience) in Accounting, Business, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
* 2+ years’ experience with payroll processing or equivalent data processing.
* Proficient knowledge of payroll in a multistate environment.
* Excellent customer service focus and experience.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and navigate sensitive situations.
* Communicates well both verbally and in writing with team members of all levels across the organization.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in multiple systems simultaneously.
* Applicable system (Workday) experience preferred.

The Community Health Nurse will provide direct client care, health education, and coordination of care.
They are accountable for coordinating and facilitating client services across the various levels of the care (i.e.

The Community Health Nurse will work with clients directly in the community (70%) engaging them in the community settings.

* Document in electronic medical records (EMR) according to organizational policies for assessments, injections, and progress notes.

While at the scene, conduct a thorough investigation into the facts and circumstances surrounding the death.

Conduct a complete investigation of the body and the scene.

Make determinations of suspicious and non-suspicious deaths,

time of death due to circumstances of the body such as rigor mortis,

livor mortis, body decomposition, etc.

Preserve, collect, and interpret evidence for the office, police, or the courts. Work with other agencies at the scene such as law enforcement, fire, ambulance personnel, etc.

Conduct an in-depth interview with family member(s) to determine past medical history, habits, medications, recent problems, or falls, etc. If family members are not present, conduct an in-depth search of the premises for information leading to finding next of kin.
11.
Advise and assist families with the process of interment of the deceased, advising and assisting with funeral homes and removals.
12.
In the event the body must be removed for further investigation (i.e.
homicides, vehicle crashes, accidents) or further testing (i.e.
autopsies, toxicological exams, odontology) the deputy is responsible for transporting the body to the morgue or other testing facility. The deputy is responsible for chain of custody for the body during this type of event.
13.
Obtain, identify, and preserve body fluids (blood, urine, vitreous, bile) for toxicological examinations and transport same to the appropriate laboratory when necessary.
14.
Handle requests for information and to assist in routine office duties while on duty and refer all other matters to the on-duty Supervisor.
Non-Essential Functions
1.
Deputies (on or off duty) are required to respond to any emergency situation or mass disaster which may occur in this County or any other county which is listed in the Mutual Aid Agreement, at the discretion of the Coroner or the supervisor.
