Primary Function
The candidate shall be capable of applying diversified knowledge of design engineering principles and practices, and independently making decisions on design engineering problems or methods, participate in the development of project design concepts and criteria, make recommendations on project staffing, analyze complex design problems requiring the development of new or improved techniques or procedures, consult with construction personnel concerning design constructability, monitor project progress for technical accuracy and adherence to schedule and budget, provide input for proposals, engage with proposal teams, managers, represent respective projects at meetings and conferences, plan, organize, and supervise design engineering activities for projects.
