Job Description
Position Purpose
Responsible for the conception, creation, execution and management of signage, promotional displays, marketing collateral and advertising functions for all in-store visual content.
The incumbent should have wide understanding of current retail trends with a visionary approach to design & importance of visual merchandising off shelf and in line - as well in the HP area for both channels (DIY & AZC).
Responsibilities
Primary Accountabilities
* Develop new merchandising ideas/programs from design through implementation.
Maintain our visual merchandising dynamic to positively impact the customers shopping experience.
* Work Crossfunctionally with marketing and non-product teams to coordinate materials, budgets and shipping/delivery of all products on time.
Participate in the evaluation of all materials being used on POP to achieve maximum efficiency and affect..
* Maintain all standardized stores, work in conjunction with the teams to coordinate the materials for store openings, so that the implementation of the signage is carried out in a timely manner before opening.
* Prepare all materials for all seasonal store guides.
Work together with the Visual Presentation Manager, coordinaing, planning and excecuting al lrelated tasks on time and correctly.
Maintain all visual presentation material within budget.
* Maintain an up to date store walkthrough every period.
This is done by obtaining input from key departments at the SSC and preparing the document for stores to implement to maintain a minimum store standards strategy.
* Work closely with buyers on every line review for requirements of the program signage content, POG material, and funding.
Take lead in managing timetables for product signage material.
* They work in conjunction with areas such as Operations, Labor Security, Legal for all store signage requirements that these require.
* Keep updated the payment list of each expense in POP through Legal verbiage.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
* Level of Formal Education: Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Design, Marketing or Communications.
* Area of Study: Graphic Design, Digital Design or similar.
* Years of Experience: Three to five years.
* Type of Experience: Four years in Printing Advertising Design
* Special Certifications or Technical Skills: "Able to generate new & unique design concepts within branding boundaries.
* Ability to multi-task, plan, and prioritize multiple projects & tight deadlines.
* Must be flexible enough to adapt to changes and deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
* Strong portfolio that demonstrates a sharp eye for design.
* Able to work effectively as part of a team.
* At least 2-3 years of experience in a design related field.
Photography experience is a plus.
