What You'll Do As a Part-Time Emergency Services Instructor, you'll provide engaging classroom, laboratory, and skills-based instruction that prepares students for careers in emergency medical services.
You'll help students build the confidence, competence, and professionalism required to provide exceptional patient care in emergency situations.
In this role, you will: Deliver classroom and hands-on instruction aligned with program curriculum and current EMS standards.Demonstrate and evaluate emergency medical skills in laboratory, simulation, and clinical settings.Assist with curriculum development and continuous program improvement.Monitor student progress and provide timely coaching, mentoring, and competency evaluations.Conduct and evaluate required skills pass-offs.Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and competency documentation.Foster a safe, professional, and supportive learning environment.Collaborate with faculty and staff to promote student success and program excellence.Model professionalism, ethical decision-making, teamwork, and evidence-based patient care.Stay current with EMS protocols, instructional methods, and industry best practices.Perform other duties as assigned.
