Assist Altec Supply Account Managers with price quotes, order entry, and technical product support
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Prepare price quotes, order entry, and technical support for customers and Account Managers
-Maintain account history for each order
-Support outside sales team
-Maintain customer and competitor history files
-Assist in tracking shipments and other customer inquiries such as back orders or billing discrepancies
-Work directly with customers to obtain specific billing information, price quotes, and orders while covering for Account Managers
-Work with warehouse personnel to ensure critical orders ship on time
-Handle/answer calls routed from the Call Center
-All other duties as assigned
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
-High School Diploma or GED required
-Bachelor's Degree preferred
-Minimum of two years industry specific or Customer Service required
-Above average attention to detail required
-Proven ability to prioritize work and meet tight deadlines required
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
-PC skills using spreadsheet, word processing, and other office management applications required
-Two years successful experience in a related sales position preferred
