Maximus is currently hiring for a Finance and Accounting Administrator II to support our Florida Healthy Kids team.
This is a remote opportunity open to Florida residents.
The Finance and Accounting Administrator II will maintain and update project files, ledger balances, and computer accounting systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintenance of the general ledger, preparation of various accounting statements and financial reports and accounts payable or receivable functions.
- Assist with any unidentified payment issues regarding invoices.
- Prepare, process and deliver invoices and payments accordingly.
- Perform research into payment objections.
- Perform research into any returned mail and ensure that any correspondence is resent timely.
- Prepare and validates financial reports.
- Reconcile information contained on internal and external reports and bank statements.
- Responsible for compiling amounts owed by the company to vendors, suppliers, and other organizations.

Ensuring re-using existing technologies whenever possible but also appropriate new technologies, that are innovative, cost-effective, deliverable at pace aligned with client needs, Maximus' capabilities and adhere to Maximus architectural standards.
Documenting and presenting these technology solutions to stakeholders and within bids that is clearly understood and articulates the value and impact on the service solution.
