RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provide technical assistance on EHS compliance projects, management system development and implementation, compliance assurance, and auditing.
* Develop procedures, plans, permit applications, and reports.
* Assess regulatory compliance across various programs and environmental media.
* Perform compliance audits and implement follow-up corrective actions to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
* Provide on-site EHS compliance support at client facilities.

REQUIREMENTS:
* BS in engineering (chemical, mechanical or environmental), environmental science, or related discipline. MS preferred.
Or the equivalency of 8+ years related experience in lieu of education.
* 0 to 3 years of consulting experience in industrial environments or internship equivalent.
* Professional registrations/certifications (EIT, ASP) preferred.
* Working knowledge of environmental, health and safety regulations.
* Experience in corporate management standards (either as a consultant or an internal compliance officer). Expertise in EHS management systems (ISO 14001 / ISO 45001) a plus.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, MS Office computer, and analytical skills; experienced in writing comprehensive technical reports.
* Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently with minimal supervision.
