* Gère l'horaire de travail afin de s'assurer d'une couverture adéquate pour l'entrepôt.
* Gère les vacances, les appels maladie et toutes interruptions de travail imprévues.
* S'assure que les procédures de réception, manipulation, entreposage et d'expédition sont suivies par le personnel du service.
* Veille à l'élaboration et à la normalisation des procédures d'exploitation pour la réception, la manipulation, l'entreposage, l'expédition.
* Vérifie l'état physique de l'entrepôt et de l'équipement afin de s'assurer de leur bon fonctionnement et que les normes sont respectées.
* Donne la formation à tout le personnel de l'entrepôt afin d'accomplir leurs tâches de manière sécuritaire et efficace.
S'efforce de créer un département ou le personnel est polyvalent.
* Travaille avec les autres équipes pour mettre en place des normes visuelles pour s'assurer que les normes sont respectées.
* Assure le renforcement de toutes les normes de sécurité, les politiques et procédures locales afin de garantir un environnement de travail sécuritaire.
