Services Solutions Engineer
The Services Solutions Engineer is responsible for the management and promotion of Rockwell Automation Services to address customer preventative maintenance, personnel training, and asset management needs..
Key Responsibilities include:
Pre-Sale Responsibilities
1.
Prepares an annual Business Plan that analyzes the local service market opportunities, identifies strategic customers, develops promotional activities, and establishes the services sales goals.
2.
Works with the Mc-Mc Engineering, Operations, and Sales resources to promote the portfolio of services.
3.
Works with sales to identify and qualify strategic target accounts to grow the business segment.
4.
Travels with sales to promote productivity enhancement services at identified target accounts
(i.e.
Repair Parts Analysis, Condition Monitoring, Predictive/Preventive Maintenance, Asset Management and Support Agreement contracts).
5.
Participates in the development of service contracts and agreements between Mc-Mc, Rockwell Automation, and the customer.
Post-Sale Responsibilities
1.
Monitors customer satisfaction and the performance of aftermarket services rendered by Mc-Mc/RA Services and takes steps to initiate corrective action as appropriate.
2.
Develops working relationships with RA Services to coordinate the supply of aftermarket services for the support of product, system, and solution sales.
3.
Works with vendors to develop and maintain a quality customer-training program.
4.
Documents the sales growth in the assigned products and services in the identified target accounts.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities to be successful include:
* Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (four-year degree)
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in related sales, services, and solutions is preferred
* Manufacturing/Plant Experience or service contract understanding
* Understanding of product technologies as it pertains to aftermarket services
* Commercial skills in working with vendors and customers on service and support issues
* Proven analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
