ABOUT THE POSITION
The Riverside County Code Enforcement Department, a key branch of the Transportation and Land Management Agency's (TLMA) Public Protection Group, is recruiting for a dynamic and experienced leader to serve as its next Director.
This vital role involves overseeing a department that plays a crucial part in maintaining community safety and well-being by enforcing county regulations on land use, zoning, illegal businesses, and community preservation.
The Director will collaborate with various county departments, including Animal Services, Environmental Health, Fire, Sheriff's, and the District Attorney's Office, to address a wide range of issues that impact the quality of life for Riverside County residents.
As the Director, the incumbent will oversee a variety of key programs, including the CalRecycle Farm & Ranch Solid Waste Cleanup and Abatement Grant Program, the CalRecycle Tire Team, and initiatives focused on commercial cannabis activities, abandoned vehicle abatement, community development, and fire hazard reduction.
The Director's leadership will be instrumental in continuing the department's mission to protect the environment, reduce health risks, and ensure that Riverside County remains a safe, thriving place for the community.
The ideal candidate is a career professional with robust experience in ordinance enforcement and a demonstrated ability in leading, motivating, and managing teams dedicated to upholding and enforcing local ordinances and laws.
This individual has a proven track record of managing high-stakes enforcement challenges while leading a staff of code enforcement officers or other enforcement staff, consistently ensuring compliance with land use, zoning, and community preservation regulations.
They possess deep knowledge of the legal frameworks governing ordinance enforcement and have successfully navigated the complexities of enforcing these laws in diverse community settings, demonstrating adaptability and understanding of diverse community needs and challenges.
This class has been designated At-Will by the Board of Supervisors, in accordance with the provisions provided under Article 6, Section 601E (8) of the County Management Resolution and will serve at the pleasure of either the TLMA Director or the Department Head.

ABOUT THE POSITION
The Aviation Division within the County of Riverside's Transportation and Land Management Agency (TLMA) is seeking an Administrative Services Analyst II (ASA II) to assist with office and field work involved in the management of airport tenants, which includes management of airport leases and accounts, and Airport Rules and Regulations enforcement.
The ASA II will plan and coordinate special events, such as open houses, and plan and monitor special projects.
The ASA II will be based in Riverside at the County Administration Center but will regularly visit all five airports managed by the Aviation department.
Additionally, the ASA II will assist with grant administration and review aviation leases and permits to ensure tenants' compliance.
Other duties will include invoice tracking, accounts payable and receivable, bookkeeping, and project budgetary data analysis.
The ASA II will work closely with the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and other consultants.
The successful candidate must be politically savvy with great communication skills as the ASA II will have to initiate difficult conversations regarding rules and regulations enforcement, past due accounts, and airport development.
The department desires candidates with a high level of attention to detail since the incumbent will be managing contracts, tenant accounts, and other documentation.
Prior related airport experience is required.
Ideal candidates will also possess experience with contracts, real estate, and vendor agreements within an airport setting.
