The Production Associate/Assembler is responsible for building and assembly of a multitude of pieces as well as completed truck bodies.

The Nuts and Bolts:
* Read and interpret: orders and specifications, blueprints, instructions and labels which may contain hazardous warnings and cautions
* Cut wood or metals to specific sizes using a variety of saws, sheers and cutters
* Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets or fasteners
* Operate pneumatic tools and hand tools
* Perform set up of machine and preventative maintenance as required
* Examine finished project for quality and defects
* Perform safety and quality checks
* Work and adhere to all safety policies
Required Credentials:
* Must have at least 6 years of previous experience in manufacturing

How You Will Make an Impact:
The Welder is responsible for operating a multitude of welding equipment working primarily on aluminum, steel and galvanneal requiring a high grade of skill.

Most start their leadership career in this welder role or general laborer/assembler role.
The Nuts and Bolts:
* Wiring for trucks from front to rear lights, camera sensors, and any other custom requests.
* Welding metals according to customer or employer requirements.
* Installing a variety of lift gates, walk ramps, and platforms.
* Ensuring high safety measures while working such as donning protective gear for the face and body.
* Operating heavy equipment such as industrial saws.
* Examining the equipment after welding and advising maintenance of defects.
* Planning/setting of welding operations before beginning.
* Reading blueprints and weld according to the plan.
* Training junior and entry level welders.
* Senior welders will supervise welding operations of junior welders.
* Demonstrating knowledge of all welding symbols.
Required Credentials:
* High school diploma (preferred) along with a vocational course in welding or previous welding training.
* Must have at least 5 years of welding experience.
* Must be able to successfully pass the company certification for the following welding methods:
* MIG
* Flux Core
* Must be able to successfully pass the company certification for the following welding materials:
Carbon steel
Galvineel
Aluminum
Stainless Steel
* A thorough knowledge of welding methods and symbols.
* A thorough knowledge about safety precautions while working.
* A thorough understanding of electrical components.
* Knowledge of hydraulics.
* Ability to read blueprints and understand instructions.
* Ability to analyze work at hand and execute welding procedure per training certifications.
* Good decision making skills.
* Ability to work in heat and smoke.
* Must pass medical questionnaire.
* Must be able to finish work within given task time.

Nuts and Bolts:
* Will be a production associate responsible for building and assembly of a multitude of pieces as well as completed truck bodies
* Read and interpret: orders and specifications, blueprints, instructions and labels which may contain hazardous warnings and cautions
* Cut wood or metals to specific sizes using a variety of saws, sheers and cutters
* Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets or fasteners
* Operate pneumatic tools and hand tools
* Perform set up of machine and preventative maintenance as required
* Examine finished project for quality and defects
* Perform safety and quality checks
* Work and adhere to all safety policies
* Weld Training
What you will learn:
* Weld together structural (Aluminum and Galvanized Steel) metal components as specified by blueprints, work orders, or oral instructions in flat, vertical or overhead positions.
* Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind or bolt components parts to obtain required configuration and positions for welding.
* Monitor the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of material.
* Complete inline quality inspection of work and Maintain weld quality in accordance to established quality guidelines
* Complete welding station tasks in accordance to established tak time (if applicable).
* Cross train on multiple welding workstations and perform required tasks in multiple stations when needed to fill staffing gaps.
* Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools including welding equipment.
* Ability to learn and perform different methods of welding to obtain certifications
At the end of the training, you will be an entry level certified Morgan Welder.
Please note: if unable to pass welding test, will continue in Production Associate role.
Required Credentials:
* Basic math, tape measurement and computer skills
* Basic experience with hand tools
* Able to understand and comprehend measurement
* Mechanical aptitude is very helpful
