The Skilled Machine Technician (SMT) operates lithium-ion battery production machines in clean-room environments, maintains machines and work areas, conducts analysis and production logs, and ensures safe, high-quality products.

Maintaining shift logs, quality control records, and strict compliance with safety standards and company policies are also crucial.
Essential Duties:
* Prioritizing safety is the top concern every day, including always using proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
* Assuming accountability for the team and the equipment under their supervision.
* Operating multiple lithium-ion battery cell production machines independently, without continuous oversight.
* Completing all tasks necessary to support production, whether these tasks correspond to a higher or lower-level position, by providing training and instructions.
* Being authorized to intervene in the production process to prevent the creation of sub-standard products.
* Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of all oil and chemical labeling and storage requirements by thoroughly reading all SDS.
* Operating, initiating, and shutting down machines.
* Identifying problems and minor troubleshooting activities following the specified escalation procedures.
