What you'll do on a typical day:
* Coordinate the development and revision process of Standard Work Instructions (SWIs), forms and other controlled documents across all functions of our business
* Facilitate the development, updates, and edits to controlled documents; coordinate approval requirements with internal customers
* Serve as a local system administrator for the Document Control System
* Manage distribution and monitor workflow of controlled documents; maintain document database on obsolete, revised, and distributed SWIs
* Issue status reports and conduct ad-hoc performance analysis
* Define quality and operating requirements
* Ensure that new strategies and process implementations meet or exceed customer expectations
* Contribute to a safe work environment for all employees
* Perform root cause analysis of quality issues
What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
* Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent related work or military experience
* 1 year of experience in quality control
* Experience with multiple modes of transportation, including DDS, Truckload, Intermodal and Air
